Hi! So nice to meet you!
I created Winniefred because I wanted to find a way to express my creativity and independence, while simultaneously being an eco-warrior for the planet. As an artist and musician, I love to be creative in all facets of my life, including how I choose to support myself. I want my life and business to inspire others to follow their passions and show them that they can create their own path.
My candles are made from natural ingredients that are biodegradable and recyclable and my vessels are reusable long after your candles are gone. When creating Winniefred I really wanted to make and promote great products that I believe in while also taking care of the planet and those around me. I hope that you love my work and know that you are not only getting beautiful products but that you are helping those around you and the environment.

Meet the pup who started it all!
The first “business” I started was in high school after making homemade treats for my dog Winston. He loved the biscuits so much I called them “Winnie’s Wonders”! I went door to door trying to sell a few bags. Even though the venture only lasted about a week I learned so much. Fast forward to a year ago when I started testing numerous scents and waxes, I quickly realized that I needed a name for my new adventure. And of course, I looked again to my best friend for help. I knew right away that “Winniefred” was the name to go with as it was one of the many nicknames I called him. Just like this business, Winnie is and always will be my baby. My dream is that years from now when the business has grown and hopefully the world is greener, I will still have my best friend right there to enjoy the view with me.
